COMET Ultralign™
Analysis and Therapy of the Musculoskeletal System
The COMET Ultralign™ is a computerized analysis, percussive mobilization, and education tool which therapists use for diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal system.
A pillar of diagnosis and treatment is assessing joint mobility and muscular tone in patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The COMET Ultralign™ provides objective data to assist in determining the stiffness of joints and tissue to aid in the diagnosing the cause of dysfunction.
The COMET Ultralign™ also ascertains the resonant frequency of that tissue to most effectively treat. During the treatment, the structure that is not functioning properly is percussed at the optimal frequency. The results are displayed in realtime on the monitor, and the treatment stops automatically as soon as the optimal resonance level is reached.
Once the treatment has completed, the patient undergoes a second evaluation which provides objective pre- and post-data of the changes made during the treatment. These results can be documented and explained to the patient immediately during the visit.
